Biography
He moved to Canada in 1913 living in Montreal PQ. In 1950 he went to Australia as Managing Director of Elizabeth Arden Pty. Ltd. retiring in 1970. He returned to Canada in 1980.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Artillery 1936-1941. (He transferred to the RNVR in 1942.) (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 02/01/1942). He served in HMS Argus as as a DCLO, HMS Furious and HMS Biter as a DCLO. He served in H.M.S. Empress for 856 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Emperor for 856 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Ameer for 896 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Empress for 896 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Emperor for 896 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Ameer for 896 RN Squadron 1945. He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant-Commander (P) (Temp.) (WHA) RCNVR 1945. He served in H.M.S. Colossus as Lieutenant-Commander (F) 1945. He served at #1 NAGS Yarmouth NS. He served in 780 Squadron, 753 Squadron, 783 Squadron, and 744 Squadron. (He was demobilized 10/1946.)
