Biography
After his naval service he worked for Robert Simpson Co. in Toronto ON.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Signalman RNVR (With seniority dated 01/10/1938). He served in H.M.S. President 1938. He served in H.M.S. Wakeful 1939. He served in H.M.S. King Alfred (Officer Training establishment 1940. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 01/10/1940). He served in Combined Operations 1940, (He survived the sinking of H.M.S. Wakeful 29/05/1940). He served in H.M.S. King Alfred for Pilot Training Course. He served in RAF Elmdon for #14 Elementary Flying Training Course 1941. He served in Kingston for #31 Service Flying Training Course 1941. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in RNAS Crail for Flying Duties 1941. He served in H.M.S. Walrus for Deck Landing Qualification 1942. He served in H.M.S. Argus for Deck Landing Qualification 1942. He served in RCAF Dartmouth NS for Test Flight Service 1942. He served in H.M.S. Seaborn 1942. He served in Kingston for #31 Service Flying Training School as Senior Naval Officer 1945. (He was demobilized 01/03/1946). (Transferred to RCNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) 1947. He served in HMCS York 1947. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 04/04/1951). He was appointed as an A/Commander (P) RCN(R). He served in HMCS York as Commanding Officer VC-920 Reserve Squadron 1953. He was appointed as a Commander (P) RCN(R). He served in HMCS York as Executive Officer 1958-59. (He retired from active service 1959.)
