Military Service

He was appointed as a Mate RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1918). He served in HMCS Niobe as Additional 1918. (Transferred to RCNR), He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCNR (With seniority dated 29/05/1927). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCNR (With seniority dated 29/05/1935). (Promoted from Lieutenants List), (Mobilized for World War Two service) 09/09/1939). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) (With seniority dated 29/05/1935), He was appointed as an A/Commander (Temp.) RCNR (With seniority dated 01/07/1943). He served in HMCS Protector 1944. (He died while serving in HMCS Protector 04/10/1944).
