Biography
He was living in Canada at the time he was recruited into the RNAS. When war broke out he joined the Artists' Rifles. He was awarded his Aviator’s Certificate by the Royal Aero Club on 20 August 1915.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS. He served at RNAS Eastchurch for Flying Training. He was appointed as a Flight Sub-Lieutenant RNAS. He served in RNAS Westgate 1915. He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant RNAS. He was serving at RNAS Fishguard.
