Military Service
He served in the Canadian Army during the Second World War. He was at McGill on a Canadian Army Course (not COTC) in 1944 and was at Camp Borden in 1945 in a Cdn Armoured Corps course. (Transferred to RCN(R)) He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1946. In 1946 he served in HMCS Donnacona for UNTD. He served on the Signals Course in 1947. He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1948. (He was released.) (Transferred to Canadian Army) He served in the the Intelligence Corps until his retirement. (He was retired).
