Biography
After his naval service he worked in communications and as a Financial Consultant on overseas projects.
 
Military Service
(Short Service Appointment 06/10/1948). He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 06/10/1948). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/10/1950). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (O) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 25/10/1950). (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN (With seniority dated 08/03/1952). He served in HMCS Magnificent for VS-880 Squadron 1955. He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Long Communications Course 1957. He served in HMCS Assiniboine as Communications Officer 1958. He served in HMCS Crescent as Communications Officer and as Squadron Communications Officer 1959. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 08/03/1960). He served in the Canadian Delegation International Commission for Control and Supervision (Viet Nam) 1960. He served in HMCS Bonaventure 1964. He served in MARCOM. He served in HMCS Naden. He served in WESTLANT. (He was released 1976.) (He was qualified as an Air Observer. He was qualified for communications duties)
