Biography
After his naval service he worked with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton AB and at Vancouver City College after the Second World War.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR 1941. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 04/05/1942). He was appointed as an Electrical Lieutenant (Anti-Submarine) (Temp.) (RCNVR) (With seniority dated 04/05/1943 later backdated to 1942). In 1944 he served in HMCS York. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 04/05/1943) (Later backdated to 04/05/1942). He served in HMCS Givenchy for Anti-Submarine Maintenance 1943. He served in HMCS York for Air Engineering Course 1944. He served with the Royal Navy With 883 Squadron 1945, (He was demobilized 20/06/1946). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (Appointed 16/12/1946) (With seniority dated 04/05/1942). He served in HMCS Nonsuch for Air Engineering Duties 1946. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (A/E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 04/05/1950). He was appointed as a Commander (E) (A/E) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1954). He served in HMCS Nonsuch as Commanding Officer 1955-58. (He was retired from RCN(R) 31/08/1958.)
