Biography
After his naval service he was employed by the Federal Government in Regina, and Calgary in the Excise and Sales Tax Department for 25 years before retiring in 1984.

(He had Second World War service with the RCNVR). (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Ordinary Seaman (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1947. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 19/01/1950). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (S) RCN(R). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 23/08/1955). (He was released.)
