Military Service

He was appointed as a Stoker 2/c (Officer Candidate UNTD) RCN(R) 1942. He served in HMCS Carleton for UNTD 1942. (Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/1958). (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (S) RCN (With seniority dated 03/1958). He served in NHQ on Staff of Chief of Logistics Engineering and Development 1964. (He retired in 1970).
