Biography
After his naval service he joined MBB Helicopter Canada Ltd. as Manager Military Sales in Ottawa ON 1985. In 1987 he was Director of Government Programs for MBB Helicopters in Ottawa. In 1990 he was promoted to Vice-President of Marketing at Fort Erie ON. He left MBB in 1992 and joined Gryphon Associates as partner and flew part-time with Niagara Helicopters flying passengers over Niagara Falls.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet (COTC). He served in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps 1955. He was appointed as an Officer Cadet Canadian Army (Regular) (With seniority dated 10/08/1959). #2 Company RCASC Lakeview ON and North Bay as Logistics Officer (Supply Transport Movements) 1959-1964. Second Lieutenant RCASC 18/12/1959. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCASC 27/02/1962. He served in RCAF Centralia for Flying Training 1964. He served in CJATC Rivers MB for Flying Training 1964. Awarded Pilot Wings 01/12/1964. He served in CJATC Rivers for Helicopter Training 1965. He served in RCAF Trenton for 102 KU for Helicopter Course 6502 in 1965. He served in RCASC School Camp Borden as Platoon Commander of Driver Training School 1965. He was appointed as a Captain RCASC (With seniority dated 21/10/1966). UN Emergency Force Gaza as Transport Officer 1967. He served in Camp Petawawa for #2 Transport Company RCASC as Deputy Commanding Officer 1967. He served in CFB Portage La Prairie for Flying Course 6701 1968. CFB Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1968. He served in CFB Shearwater for VS-880 Squadron 1968 where he crewed with an RCAF crew commander and two naval aircrew to make up Canada's first "tri-service" aircrew. He was the first army pilot to operate from H.M.C.S. Venture. He served in 450 Transport Helicopter Squadron 1971. NDHQ as Pilot Career Manager 1975. MAJ (PLT) 01/01/1977. CFB Lahr Germany for 444Tactical Helicopter Squadron as Deputy Commander 1977. He served in NDHQ for French Language Training 1981. NDHQ for Directorate of Land Aviation as Staff Officer Air Doctrine and Operations 1982. (He retired 30/01/1985.)
