Biography
He was a labourer and seaman at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as an Able Seaman RNCVR. He was appointed as a Leading Seaman RNCVR. In 1916 he served in HMCS Grilse. (He was demobilized).
