Biography
He attended Victoria College before his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1949. He served in Royal Roads Military College (HMCS Malahat) under UNTD Plan 1949-1951. (Transferred to RCN 01/09/1951). He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 11/09/1950). He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 11/04/1954). He served in HMCS Niobe for Submarine Training With Royal Navy 1955. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN(With seniority dated 11/04/1962). (He was released.) (He was qualified for submarine duties.)
