Military Service

He was appointed as a Electrical Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/12/1939). He served in the HQ of the Commanding Officer Atlantic Coast on staff of Director Anti-Submarine Defences 1939. He was appointed as an A/Electrical Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/07/1942). He served in HMCS Stadacona. (He was demobilized.) (Short Service Appointment). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (L) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 26/01/1951) (Later backdated to 01/01/1944). He was appointed as a A/Commander (L) (SSA) RCN 1955. (He was released.)
