Military Service

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #31 Pilot Training Course. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Archer for 819 RN Squadron 1943. He served in H.M.S. Activity for 819 RN Squadron 1944. He served in the 2nd Tactical Air Force (Coastal) for 829 RN Squadron 1945. He served in H.M.S. Ocean as Deck Landing Control Officer 1945. (He was demobilized.)
