Biography
He was the older brother of Peter Edmund Code. He graduated from Queen's University in 1953. He had a civilian career in the Public Service (including as Department of National Defence speech writer) and latterly as Executive Director of the Conference of Defense Associations Institute.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/02/1950). He served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD 1949-1951. He was a Sub-Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/07/1952). He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 09/08/1954). In 1954 he served in HMCS Cataraqui. In 1955 he served in HMCS Carleton. (He was released 1958.)
