Biography
After his naval service he joined family engineering firm. Then worked in yacht business in Caribbean for 7 years. In 1973-1984 he was a partner in a yacht brokerage in Vancouver BC Canada. He currently owns Westerly Yacht Sales Ltd.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet RNVR (With seniority dated 01/11/1954). He served in H.M.S. Theseus for Training 1954. He was appointed as a Midshipman RNVR (With seniority dated 01/04/1955). He served in RAF Syerston (near Newark, Nottinghamshire UK) for Flying Training 1955. He served in RAF Valley for Jet Conversion 1955. He was Awarded Wings. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RNVR (With seniority dated 01/05/1956). He served in RNAS Lossiemouth for 738 RN Squadron 1956. He served in H.M.S. Eagle for 806 RN Squadron 1957. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) RN (With seniority dated 01/11/1957). He served in RNAS Yeovilton for 766 RN Squadron 1958. He served in H.M.S. Eagle for 894 RN Squadron 1958. He served in H.M.S. Albion for 894 RN Squadron 1959. He served in RAF Central Flying School for Flying Instructor Course 1960. He served in RNAS Lossiemouth as Flying Instructor 1961.
