Biography
After his naval service he was appointed as the Chief Administration Officer for the Town of Hearst Ontario 1979-1986 and an Ontario Justice of the Peace.

Devonshire for Sea Training 1944. He served in H.M.S. King George V for Sea Training. He served in H.M.S. Undaunted for Training. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1946). He served in qualifying Courses with RN. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1947). He served in RCAF Trenton for Pilot Training 1947. He served in HMCS Crescent. He served in HMCS Antigonish. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN (With seniority dated 16/01/1948). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) RCN (With seniority dated 16/01/1956). He served in HMCS Saguenay. He served in HMCS Restigouche as Executive Officer. He served in RCAF Staff College Course 1961. He served in NDHQ as Staff Officer 1961. He was appointed as a Commander RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1962). He served in the College Militaire Royal de St. Jean as Vice-Commandant 1962. He served in HMCS Ottawa (III) (In command) 1964. He was appointed as a Captain (MARS) (With seniority dated 01/01/1968). He served in National Defence College 1968. He served in NDHQ as Director Strategic Plans 1968. He served in HMCS Protecteur (In command) 1971. He served in CFB Shearwater as Commanding Officer 1972.
