Biography
After his naval service he was the Manager of the Officers Mess at CFB Shearwater 1975. Later he joined the Province of Nova Scotia Department of Education as Industrial Training Monitor 1976. Retired again 01/07/1990.

He served in HMCS Micmac as Watchkeeper 1963. He served in HMCS Cap de la Madeleine on Staff of Commander Ninth Canadian Escort Squadron as Operations Officer 1964. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Operations Division 1965. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 31/07/1965). He served in HMS Vernon for Mine Counter Measures School 1965. He served in CFB Halifax for Maritime Operational and Tactical Evaluation Force 1967. He served in MARCOM HQ on Staff of Deputy Chief of Staff (Naval Reserves) as Staff Officer (Training) 1970. (He was retired 30/03/1975.)
