Biography
After his naval service he joined the Privy Council Office as Director of Security and Intelligence Policy and Resources 1980. He worked on EXPO '86 as Director General 1983. He served as a Transport Canada as Director General (Policy and Planning) 1986. He served as a Transport Negotiator for Canada-US Free Trade Agreement Negotiations 1987. (He was retired again 1988). He established Craven Associates (consulting company) 1988 and InterCon Consultants 1994.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (Victoria College UNTD) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 01/09/1949). He served in HMCS Malahat for UNTD 1949-1951. (Short Service Appointment).
