After his naval service he was a research associate at the Centre for Foreign Policy Studies at Dalhousie University. He was the Director of Maritime Affairs for the Naval Officers Association of Canada. He was the winner of Royal Navy's Goodenough Medal in 1953. He was the winner of the Admiral's Medal for 1992. |
