Biography
He made significant contributions to the development of Magnetic Anomaly Detection (MAD) particularly on the CAE Electronics Automatic Permanent Magnetic Compensator (APMC).

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (L) RN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) RN, (On Loan from the RN to the RCN). He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron as Squadron Electrical Officer 1962-64. (He was returned to the RN for service). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (E) (A/E) (L) RN (With seniority dated 01/05/1965). (He was released.)
