He was appointed as a Probationary Flight Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNAS (With seniority dated 01/05/1916). He served in RNAS Redcar for Flying Instruction 1917. He served in RNAS #8 (Naval) Squadron 1917. He flew 15 operational missions. |
