Biography
After his naval service he joined the Transport Canada Aviation Safety Program in Ottawa ON. Later he was appointed as the Regional Director of System Safety for Transport Canada Aviation Western Region in Edmonton AB.

He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/07/1966). He served in CJATC Rivers for Helicopter Training. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 03/07/1966). He served in HMCS Shearwater for Helicopter Training. He served in HMCS Shearwater for HS-50 Squadron. He served in HMCS Nipigon for Helicopter Air Detachment. He served in HMCS Ottawa for Helicopter Air Detachment. He served in HMCS Annapolis for Helicopter Air Detachment.
