After his naval service he worked with Fairey Aviation as Test Pilot to 1965. Formed Flying Firemen in 1965. He was killed flying a Canso water bomber with Flying Firemen Co. 07/1967 on Skirt Mountain. |

He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant RCAF. He served in #274 RAF Squadron. (He was demobilized 08/06/1945). (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 28/08/1947). He served in HMCS Tecumseh 1947, (Short Service Appointment 28/02/1953). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 28/08/1947). He served in HMCS Malahat as Resident Instructor Reserve Squadron VC-922 and as Staff Officer (Air) 1953, (Transferred to RCNR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 28/08/1955). He served in HMCS Malahat for VC-922 Squadron as Commanding Officer 1956. (He was retired 1959.) |
