Biography
After his naval service he worked as a mining engineering consultant in Calgary AB and Australia.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Officer Cadet 1939. He served in the Royal Military College of Canada 1939-41, (Transferred to RNVR). He was appointed as a Naval Airman 2/c (Pilot Candidate RNVR 1941. He served in #13 Elementary Flying Training School 1941, 31 Service Flying Training School 1941. He was Awarded Wings. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 01/02/1942). He served in RNAS St. Merryn for 794 RN Squadron 1942. He served in H.M.S. Heron for 897 RN Squadron. He served in H.M.S. Unicorn, (Transferred to RCNVR). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 01/08/1943). He served in USNAS Brunswick (Maine) for 1843 RN Squadron as Pilot 1944. He served in H.M.S. Trouncer for 1843 RN Squadron 1944. He served in RNAS Eglinton and RNAS Ayr for 1843 RN Squadron 1944. He served in H.M.S. Arbiter for 1843 RN Squadron 1945. (He was demobilized 1945.)
