In 1911 he joined the Dominion Wireless Service as a Radio Technician. In 1913 he installed the equipment at the Alert Bay Wireless Telegraph Radio Station. In 1914 he was a Wireless Telegraph Operator at Triangle Island and was transferred to Digby Island later that year. In 1915 he installed a synchronous rotary spark set at Triangle Island. In 1922 he installed new high power equipment at Digby Island Radio Station and stayed on as OIC. In 1923 he served at Estevan Point Radio Station. He retired due to health problems. |

He was appointed as a First Class Wireless Telegraph Operator RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). He was appointed as a Chief Wireless Telegraph Operator RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/03/1916). In 1916-1918 he served in HMCS Rainbow for Wireless Telegraph Duty (West Coast) at Gonzales Hill Radio Station. (He was demobilized.) |
