Biography
After his naval service he worked in the Philippines.

He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 28/06/1944). (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN(R) (With seniority dated 28/06/1944). (Short Service Appointment commencing 09/11/1951). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 28/06/1952), (Selected for permanent commission). He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 28/12/1954). He served in HMCS Fort Erie as Executive Officer 1956. He served in HMCS Patriot on Staff of Commanding Officer Naval Division 1958. He served in HMCS Scatarie (In command) 1958. (He retired c1965.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
