He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for Pilot Training Course. He served in #13 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in #31 Service Flying School. He served in 815 Squadron. (He was killed in action 17/10/1944 one of eleven aircraft lost to Japanese flak at Car Nicobar Island in the eastern Indian Ocean.) |
