Biography
After his naval service he worked as an aeronautical consultant for the Government of Québec in Department of Trade and Commerce 1983-1986. Afterwards he worked as a professional artist.

He was appointed as a Midshipman (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1956). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for Leadership School for First Midshipman's Divisional Course 1956. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1957). He served in HMCS Micmac for Watchkeeping 1957. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1958). He served in HMCS Thunder as Navigating Officer 1958. He served in HMCS Niagara For Pilot Training With USN 1958. He served in USNAS Pensacola for Flying Training 1959. He served in USS Antietam for Carrier Qualification 1960. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1960. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RCN (With seniority dated 01/02/1961). He served in HMCS Shearwater for HU-21 Squadron for Operations Department 1962. He served in RCAF Rivers for Canadian Joint Training Centre Rivers MB for Helicopter Instructor Course 1964. He served in CFB Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for HS-50 Squadron 1966. He served in HMCS Skeena as Helicopter Detachment Commander 1973. He served in HMCS Margaree as Helicopter Detachment Commander 1975. He served in CFB Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron 1975. He was appointed as a MAJ (PLT) (With seniority dated 01/01/1979). (He was retired on 03/12/1982.
