Biography
He was the son of Thomas, 1st Baron Denman (the Solicitor General to Queen Caroline). He unsuccessfully contested the Parliamentary seat for Manchester UK in 1859.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a First Class Volunteer RN (With seniority dated 07/04/1823) serving in H.M.S. Dover. He was appointed as a Midshipman RN (With seniority dated 01/09/1823) serving in H.M.S. Sybille. He served in H.M.S. Thetis. He served in H.M.S. Cruizer and H.M.S. Satellite. He was appointed as a Lieutenant RN (With seniority dated 09/03/1831). He served in H.M.S. Snake in 1832.
