Biography
After the squadron he remained with HMCS Cataraqui until he completed his education.. Mr. Dennis went on to teach mathematics and became a department head for the next twenty-eight years until his retirement. He also continued flying with the Oshawa Flying Club and the Central Ontario Soaring Association.
 
Military Service
H eserved as a Flight Cadet Queen’s University Reserve Training Plan – 1953. Six weeks of basic training at Royal Military College. He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF (Reserve) - 1953. He served in # 1 Flying Instruction School RCAF Station Trenton – 22 June 1953 – 10 September 1953. He served in # 3 Flying Instruction School RCAF Station Claresholm – 10 May 1954 – 9 September 1954. He served in # 1 Advanced Flying School RCAF Saskatoon – 1955. He was appointed as a Flying Officer RCAF (Reserve) (He was released.) (Transferred to RCN(R)) He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 10/02/1956). He served in HMCS Ctaraqui for VC 921 Squadron . He was appointed as an A/Lieutenant (P) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 10/02/1958). (He was released.)
