Biography
At his time of enlistment he was a student in Trail BC Canada.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RCNVR (With seniority dated 18/07/1940). He served in the Calgary Division RCNVR 1940. He served in HMCS Stadacona 1940. He served in H.M.S. Raleigh (Officer Training Establishment) 1940. He served in H.M.S. Drake 1941. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for 23 Pilot Training Course 1941. He served in RAF Elmdon for 14 Elementary Flying Training School 1941. He served in H.M.S. Daedalus. (CFR). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 31/12/1940). He served in 31 Service Flying Training School. He served in RN College Greenwich for Training. He served in H.M.S. Jackdaw for Training 1942. He served in H.M.S. Condor for 753 RN Squadron 1942. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (Temp.) RCNVR 08/11/1942 (Later backdated to 1941). He served in RNAS Arbroath (HMS Condor) for 753 Squadron 1942.
