Biography
He apprenticed (5 years) with Hawker Aircraft Company at Kingston-on-Thames UK before his naval service. He was appointed as Flying Training Ltd. as Deputy Chief Engineer at Hanworth Aerodrome London 1937-39. After his naval service he joined Canada Department of Transport as Chief Air Cushion Vehicle Division 1967-78.

He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 30/12/1940). He served in H.M.S. Victory for Divisional Course 1940. He served in RNAS Lee-on-Solent for Naval Aviation Familiarization 1941. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR (With seniority dated 30/12/1940).
