Biography
After his naval service he was a businessman.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as a Probationary Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR 1941. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 06/1941). He served in HMCS Sudbury 1941. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 03/06/1943) (Later backdated to 1942). He served with the royal Navy for Observer Training. (He was demobilized 1945.) (Transferred to RCN(R)). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 18/12/1944). He served in HMCS Scotian 1945-53. (He was released in 1953.) (He was qualified with a Watchkeeping Certificate.)
