Biography
During his early retirement years he devoted much of his time to the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa ON.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Pilot Officer RCAF 1928. He was appointed as a Flight Lieutenant RCAF. He served on the British Columbia coast in 1930 and took some of the first aerial photographs for the Canadian Hydrographic service. He was appointed as a Squadron Leader RCAF. He was appointed as a Wing Commander RCAF. He was appointed as a Group Captain RCAF. He was appointed as an Air Commodore RCAF. He was appointed as an Air Marshall RCAF. He was appointed as an Air Vice-Marshall RCAF. (He was retired 1968).
