Biography
After his naval service he attended the Cambourne School of Mines 1946-9. He worked as a mining engineer in Ontario, BC and Quebec. He retired in 1982.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNVR (With seniority dated 01/06/1940). He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for 47 Observer Course 1941. He served in RNAS Wingfield 1942. He served in RNAS Tanga for 797 RN Squadron 1942. He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Illustrious for 810 RN Squadron 1943. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (O) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Victorious as Photographic Officer 1945. (He was demobilized.)
