Biography
After his naval service he joined IMP Group as Senior Avionics Engineer (Rotary Wing) 01/06/1982, retiring again 30/03/1990.

He was appointed as an OSLMS RCN (With seniority dated 26/01/1953). He served in HMCS Cornwallis for New Entry Training 1953. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Basic Electrical Course 1953. He was appointed as a ABLM1 RCN. He served in HMCS Quebec as Electricians Mate1953. He served in CFS Newport Station as Transmitter Maintenance Technician and Watchkeeper 1954. He served in HMCS Stadacona for HMC Electrical School for Electrical Air Technician Course 1955. He served in HMCS Shearwater for "L" Building Electrical and Instrumentation Shops as Electrical Air Technician 1955. He was appointed as a P2EA3 RCN. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VF-871/VF-870 1958, Sikorsky Service School (Stratford CT USA) for Sea King Instrument Electrical and Automatic Stabilization Equipment Course 1963. He served in USNAS Quonset Point and USS Wasp for "Hands-on Training" 1963. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VU-32 Squadron as Supervisor Second Line Maintenance (CS2F and T-33) 1963. He served in HMCS Shearwater as NCO-in-Charge Base Quality Assurance Section 1972. He served in MARCOM HQ on Staff as Deputy Staff Officer Instrument and Electrical and Integral Systems 1973. He was appointed as a Chief Warrant Officer (With seniority dated 01/05/1974). He served in CFB Shearwater as Maintenance Manager (Rotary Wing) 1977. He served in CFB Chilliwack for Canadian Forces Officer Candidate School 1977. (CFR). He was appointed as a Captain (AERE) (With seniority dated 01/12/1977). He served in CFB Shearwater as Aircraft Repair Officer (Rotary Wing) 1978. He served in CFB Borden for Canadian Forces School of Aerospace and Ordnance Engineering 1978. He served in NDHQ as Aircraft Project Officer (Sea King) 1979. (He was retired in 1982.)
