Biography
He played football for the Hamilton Tigers up until 1942 when he joined the navy.

He was appointed as a Chaplain (UCC) RCN (With seniority dated 17/10/1942). He served in HMCS Chatham. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class III) (Temp.) RCN (With seniority dated 17/10/1942). He served in HMCS Port Colborne. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class II) (UCC) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1946). He served in HMCS Stadacona as Chaplain. He was appointed as a Chaplain (Class III) RCN (With seniority dated 01/01/1946). He served as Deputy Chaplain of the Fleet (P). He was appointed as a Chaplain Class IV (P) RCN (With seniority dated 01/07/1952). He served in NHQ. He served in HMCS Naden on Staff of Flag Officer Pacific Coast as Area Chaplain (P) RCN Pacific Command 1958. (He was released.)
