Biography

 

Military Service

(Short Service Appointment 01/06/1947). He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1947. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Officers Divisional Course 1947. He served in HMCS Stadacona for RCN Air Section Dartmouth in No.1 Training Air Group 1947. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN (With seniority dated 01/06/1948), RCN Barracks Halifax for RCN Air Section (Dartmouth) 1948. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 18th Carrier Air Group in 803 Squadron 1948. He served in HMCS Shearwater for 19th Carrier Air Group in 803 Squadron 1949. (He died in a midair flying accident at the Canadian National Exhibition airshow on 23/08/1949.)
