Biography
He is the brother of Vic Emery. He became a prominent Plastic Surgeon in Sonoma, CA. He won an Olympic Gold Medal in the 1964 Olympic Winter Games (Innsbruck Austria) in 4-man Bobsled racing.

 

Military Service
He was appointed as a Naval Cadet (UNTD) RCN(R) 1951. In 1951 he served in HMCS Cataraqui for UNTD. He was appointed as a Surgeon Sub-Lieutenant (RCN(R) (With seniority dated o1/05/1955). In 1955 he served in HMCS Cataraqui. (He was released.)

He is an Inductee in Canada's Sports Hall of Fame - 1964 and an Inductee in the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame - 1971.
