Biography
After his naval service he joined Execair in Montreal as corporate pilot 1968. He joined Canadair as a member of the test team for the CL-215 water bomber and as a corporate pilot. In 1971 he joined Desjardins Sauriol and Associates in Montreal. In 1974 he joined Air Laurentian Charter Service as pilot. In 1975 he joined Champco and Business Air Services in Toronto as a pilot. He retired in 1984.

He was appointed as a AC2 (Pilot Candidate) RCAF (Special Reserve) (With seniority dated 01/11/1942). He was appointed as a LAC RCAF (With seniority dated 01/09/1943). He served in RCAF St. Catherines for #9 Elementary Flying Training School 1943. He served in RCAF Dunnville for 6 Service Flying Training School 1943, Awarded Pilot Wings 01/04/1944. (CFR). Pilot Officer RCAF 01/06/1944. He served in RCAF Bagotville for 1 Operational training Unit 1944, Flying Officer RCAF 01/10/1944. He served in RCAF Greenwood for 8 OTU 1944, RAF Milford for 56 OTU 1945, RAF Brunton 1945. He served in RCAF Flensburg for 438 RCAF Squadron 1945, Demobilized 01/09/1945, (Transferred to RCAF Reserve Class E 01/10/1945), (Transferred to RCN), (Short Service Appointment 03/06/1949). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (P) (SSA) RCN 03/06/1949. He served in HMCS Stadacona for Officers Divisional Course 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater 1949. He served in RCAF Trenton for Flying Refresher Course 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater for No.1 Training Air Group 1949. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Magnificent for 19th Carrier Air Group in 803 Squadron 1950. He served in HMCS Shearwater HMCS Magnificent for VF-871 Squadron 1951. He served in HMCS Shearwater for VX-10 Squadron as Project Pilot 1952. He served in RCAF Trenton for Flying Instructor Course 1953. He served in RCAF Trenton for Standards Officer Course 1954. He served in HMCS Shearwater and HMCS Bonaventure for VS-880 Squadron as Executive Officer 1965. He served in HMCS Shearwater for Senior Air Traffic Control Officer 1966, CFB Borden for Air Traffic Control Course 1967. He retired on 01/07/1968.
