Biography
He emigrated to Canada on 01/01/1947. After his naval service he retired on 01/12/1981.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. St. Vincent for #34 Pilot Training Course, RAF Elmdon for #14 Elementary Flying Training School. He served in RCAF Kingston for #31 Service Flying Training School. (He was Awarded Wings 10/10/1942). He served in RAF Errol for #9 AFU 1942. He served in Yarmouth NS for #1 NAG School as Pilot Instructor. He served in RNAS Yarmouth for 744 RN Squadron. He served in RNAS Arbroath 1944. He served in RNAS Inskip for OTU 1944. He served in H.M.S. Empress for Deck Landing Training 1944. He served in RNAS Maydown 1944. He served in H.M.S. Vindex for 825 RN Squadron (Russian Convoy service) 1944. He served in RNAS Machrihanish for 825 RN Squadron 1945. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (A) (Temp.) RNVR. He served in H.M.S. Campania for 825 RN Squadron (Russian Convoy) 1945. He served in RNAS Maydown for 836 RN Squadron 1945. He served in RNAS Hinstock as Flying Instructor 1945. (He was demobilized on 28/02/1946.)
