Biography |

He was living in Winnipeg MB at the time of his recruitment into the navy. He began his teaching career at Lavallee School before moving onto Nelson MacIntyre as a grade 11 and 12 English teacher. He was elected president of the Norwood Teachers' Association and, with his team, negotiated the first maternity leaves for teachers in Manitoba. He worked as a lawyer. He began his practice with Erickson and Clay before becoming a sole practitioner with offices on Osborne Street. He last practised in his home, where he met with clients at the dining room table until shortly before his death. |
