Biography
After his naval service he worked in the Building & Grounds Department of the University of Victoria. He retired again 01/01/1982.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as a Stoker (2nd Class) on 06/1938. He served in HMCS Nootka. He served in HMCS Ottawa. He served in HMCS Dundas. He served in HMCS St. Clair. He served in HMCS Ettrick. He was appointed as a Chief Petty Officer Engineroom Artificer RCN 02/1951. He served in HMCS Sioux 1951. (Korean War service). (CFR). He was appointed as an A/Commissioned Engineer (E) RCN. He was appointed as a Commissioned Engineer (E) RCN. He was appointed as a Lieutenant (E) (Star) RCN (With seniority dated 01/04/1954). He served in HMCS Gaspe as Engineering Officer and as Squadron Engineer Officer to First Canadian Minesweeping Squadron 1953. He served in HMY Britannia as Royal Tour (Canada) Liaison Officer 1959. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander RCN (With seniority dated 30/01/1961). He served in HMCS Naden. He served in HMCS Stadacona for HMC Fleet School as Engineering Division Fleet School. He served as the AdC (P) to Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia 1961. (He was released 16/12/1968.)
