Biography
He was a fireman at the time of his recruitment into the navy.
 
Military Service
He was appointed as an Ordinary Seaman RNCVR. He served in the hired Trawler Minesweeper HMS Drumtochty was mined and sunk in the Dover Straits 1918. (He died on active service).
