Biography

He served in the RCNVR with the RN FAA during the Second World War. After his naval service he worked for the Defence Research board of Canada as Superintendent of the Radio Physics Laboratory. He served as a Professor at the University of Saskatchewan. He served as at the Director of the centre for Radio Science at the University of Western Ontario. He served as the Director of the Space Science Coordination Office at the National Research Council in Ottawa ON.

He was appointed as a Sub-Lieutenant (SB) (Radar) (Temp.) (With seniority dated 20/04/1942). He was appointed as a Lieutenant (SB) (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 20/04/1943). He served with the Royal Navy. (He was demobilized.) He was appointed as a Lieutenant (L) (A/R) RCN(R) (With seniority dated 14/06/1945). In 1949 he served in HMCS Unicorn. (He was released.)
