Biography
He was a bank accountant at the time of his recruitment into the navy.

 

Military Service

He was appointed as an Assistant Paymaster RNCVR (With seniority dated 01/06/1917). In 1916-1918 he served in HMCS Niobe (as Additional For service in Halifax Dockyard). (He was demobilized.)(Transferred to RCNVR and mobilized for World War Two service). He was appointed as a A/Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 24/02/1940). He served in NSHQ on Staff of Naval Secretariat 1940. He was appointed as a Paymaster Lieutenant-Commander (Temp.) RCNVR (With seniority dated 24/02/1940)). He served in NHQ. (He was demobilized.)
