Biography
After his naval service he served with CIDA in Industrial Co-operation Division 1981. Department of National Defence as Consultant on Pilot Classification Evaluation Team. Saint John Shipbuilding Ltd. as Quality Assurance Trials Manager for Canadian Patrol Frigate Programme) 1985-88. He retired again 1988. He was a consultant to CIDA. Afterwards he served in voluntary capacity as member of Board of Directors of Navy League of Canada (Ottawa Branch).

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet RCN 1942. He served in Royal Roads (RCNC First Two-year Class) 1942. He was appointed as a Midshipman RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1944). He served in HMCS Uganda 1944. He served in H.M.S. Ulysses On Detached Duty for Service With British Occupation Forces in Japan 1945.
