Biography
After his naval service he joined the Department of Trade and Commerce as Engineering Consultant in Transportation Section 1962. He joined Ashlon Press Manufacturing Company as Sales manager 1964. He joined R.L. Crain Ltd. as Plants Manager 1966 and as Vice-President Manufacturing 1969, and as President and CEO in 1981, and as Chairman of the Board and CEO 1988. He retired on 01/03/1990.

He was appointed as a Naval Cadet RCN (With seniority dated 01/10/1942). He served in Royal Roads (RCNC) 1942. He was appointed as a Midshipman (E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/08/1944). He served in the Royal Naval Engineering College for Courses 1944. He was appointed as an A/Sub-Lieutenant (E) RCN (With seniority dated 01/09/1945). He served in NHQ on Staff of Director of Air Engineering as Engineer Project Officer at DeHavilland Aircraft Company in Toronto for CS2F Project 1954. He was appointed as a Lieutenant-Commander (E) (A/E+) RCN (With seniority dated 01/12/1954). He served in HMCS Niobe to Stand By HMCS Bonaventure 1956.
