Biography
After the Second World War service he held a Civilian Commercial Licence (Instructor Rating) 1945. He served in the Kingston Flying Club as Flight Instructor 1945. After his naval service he joined Bell Helicopter Company as Senior Applications Engineer 1965. (He was retired 01/01/1984). He holds Senior Commercial Pilot and Sailpane #10 Licences. He was elected as the Chairman of the Canadian Aeronautic and Space Institute (Test Pilots Group) 1963-1965. He was one of two sailplane instructors in Canada to qualify as a Check Pilot of Check Pilots specialized in sailplane aerobatics.
